Our first external design-build project in the private sector

In 2019, Béton Provincial invested in a new transhipment and storage terminal for asphalt and a new polymerization plant in Matane’s industrial park. Habitat was hired to build the plant. This was our first external design-build project in the private sector. In other words, Béton Provincial asked us to design and build this project from A to Z. We handled everything from the initial design, to drafting detailed technical specifications and plans, purchases, construction, trials and commission. We met each of the customer’s requirements and requests in terms of cost and schedule.
